Why is it cheaper than Western agencies?

We're based in Nairobi. Our overhead is lower. We pass that through. The work is the same — same Next.js, same Postgres, same TypeScript discipline, same Lighthouse 95+. We just don't pay London or San Francisco rent.

Why is it more than other Nairobi shops?

We're not a WordPress-templates shop. Every site is custom-built, type-safe, CMS-driven, and shipped at studio quality. We'd rather charge what the work is worth and do fewer projects than chase volume at lower quality.

Question 3

Do you take half upfront?

Accepted Answer

50% on signed quote, 50% on launch. For projects above KES 1.5M, we split into thirds: 30% kickoff, 40% design sign-off, 30% launch.

Question 4

What if we go over scope?

We don't silently. New scope = a one-line addendum with a fixed price. You sign or you don't. We never bill surprise hours.

Question 5

Do you do equity / revenue share?

Rarely, and only after we've worked together at least once on a paid project. Equity-only first-time engagements don't work for either of us.

Refunds?

After Discover (week 1), if you don't feel we're the right fit, we refund the deposit minus the discovery fee (KES 50K). After Design starts, no refunds — but you walk away with all the design assets we made.
